Access requires a steep climb either from the sea front or an uphill walk upon arrival, which might test your stamina. The thin walls let through a fair amount of noise from traffic in the hotel, so light sleepers might want to take note.

Location: the hotel was near waterfront, restaurants and bus services, and cycle route and 5 mile wooded railway walk. Diner Fort View Cafe was located 10 minutes walk away. Rich breakfast with different specials was a nice touch.

The sea view was amazing, made it hard to resist. The clean, well-maintained facilities added to the overall experience. Accessing the guest house involved a steep climb, which may not suit everyone, and the walls between rooms allowed for noticeable noise from the outside, impacting sleep quality at times.
